Tell God what you want

 Once, three women went to an adoration ground. They had a common intention, to be able to conceive. One of them already had a female child, while the other two had none. One of the two who had none said

"How I wish God will give me a child, even if its only one child, even if it is a female child, its enough for me. The other commented sharply "You are even asking for much. Myself, all I need is to get pregnant, let people see me with a protruded belly so that at least they ll know that I'm not a man, I'm a woman. Even if the child dies, people will say that at least they saw me pregnant.

The third lady who already had a female child looked at them with utmost surprise "Are you ladies really serious with what you said?" she asked "I'm surprised you are saying this. Myself, I have a child, and an only child. I'm here so that God would give me more children, both male and female. I can't manage one. God forbid me managing only one."

     

It looked like mere discussion. Its a true story. As of the year 2003, the lady who had a female child gave birth to her 6th child completing them 3 males and 3 females. The one who had asked for one still had one, but more perturbing and surprising was that the one who asked that at least she should be pregnant, got pregnant, but the child died at delivery. And up until then, she had gotten no child. The lady told me this story herself.

         Whenever you are asking God for anything, anything whatever, just tell him what you need. If he wants to do it, he will, if he doesn't want to do it, its another thing all together. But don't go to start having pity on God, perhaps you are demanding much or perhaps, God will say that you are greedy. No, ask for whatever you need. Don't say you need 3 while actually you need 4. Don't attach any condition to your prayers except if you are making promise. And if you happen to make any promise, try and fulfil it, don't joke with your prayers. Don't joke with God. Don't feel for him while asking for anything, he doesn't need your pity, he needs your steadfastness and love.
